How Is Liposuction Performed?

What to Expect After Your Procedure

Once the surgery is over, you’ll be taken to a recovery room, where the doctors will place a compression garment over the surgical site, allowing your skin to settle and tighten over the treatment area. You may even go home the same day, if you had your liposuction on an outpatient basis.
