New Jersey native Julie Miller M.D., Ph.D., was born, raised and educated in the great community of Jersey City. Seeking a change of scenery, Dr. Miller relocated to New Orleans, LA, where she attended Tulane University School of Medicine and received her M.D. and Ph.D. She returned to New Jersey for ophthalmology training at the renowned Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
About Dr. Miller
Her training allowed her to participate in hundreds of complex cases that many eye surgeons never have the opportunity to see in their careers. She also learned state-of-the art ophthalmologic techniques from scholars in the field, including the inventor of the refractive surgery laser.
Dr. Miller is a board certified surgeon and a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She specializes in eyelid plastic surgery, which includes procedures such as blepharoplasty, droopy eyelid repair, and eyelid lift. Laser vision correction is another of her specialties and an area in which she has performed hundreds of surgical and laser procedures that are complementary to a face lift in Manhattan.
