Where is the Incision Placed During My Neck Lift?

The incision size and placement vary from patient to patient based on what is required to achieve your ideal results.

A surgical neck lift may only need one incision, but typically requires three small incisions, which are made as precisely and carefully as possible to ensure scarring is at the absolute minimum. One incision will be placed under your chin, which is used to remove submental fat and tighten the neck muscles. Another small incision will be placed behind each ear, which is used to further tighten the neck muscles and remove excess skin.

While you recover, be careful not to strain or excessively move your neck. Keep your head elevated and sleep with a supportive pillow.
